Unexplained 1545 Poland UFO Event: Flying Humanoids in the Sky

True and terrifying news, never heard of before: An apparition in the sky observed in Poland on Palm Sunday, March 29, 1545

On the left in the picture, a warrior with a two-handed sword fighting an entire host; above him, a dragon and an eclipse; on the right, an angel sits on one of three rainbows. All of this was allegedly seen above the city of Riga in 1545.

At first, a very fierce and large dragon appeared, spitting fire across the sky. Then, three red crosses, burning like fire, also showed up. Likewise, two suns—one black, the other red—became visible.

Then, a very large heavenly army, on the march and armed with spikes, could be seen.

Suddenly, a mighty warrior stood up against the army and struck powerful and heavy blows until he disappeared half an hour later. Then, suddenly, three large rainbows crossed the firmament. And alas, an angel holding a trumpet that shone like red gold appeared, and the angel looked as though he were about to sound his trumpet.

But after a while, instead of doing so, he stretched out his hands gracefully in a quite pitiful pose and remained so until the end.

Meanwhile, above his right hand appeared the moon; above his left, the sun—both blood-red and horrible in shape. Then a terrible roar was heard as the dragon opened its mouth and breathed fire, from which the army of spearmen was burned to the last.

Our Evaluation of the Alleged UFO Sighting

The account of the sighting reads less like a typical UFO report and more like a powerful religious vision, reminiscent of Virgin Mary apparitions. Images of fiery dragons, burning crosses, two suns, a heavenly army, a mighty warrior, and an angel with a golden trumpet strongly evoke Christian themes, especially those found in the Book of Revelation.

These vivid, dramatic elements suggest a strong religious experience or spiritual vision on the part of the author, rather than the unidentified aerial phenomena commonly referred to as UFOs.
